I'm glad you asked! I have two trusted and background checked backup sitters who are able to do some of my visits, but not many, so I will be doing 99% of the visits with your pets. If it is necessary for me to send a backup sitter, I will disclose this before your booking, as soon as possible.
Though I am usually booked for dog care, I have cared for different animals from dogs to cats and even some scaly friends and aquatic buddies. I'm happy to accommodate whichever animals you have chosen to be your pets.
Yes, I can house it in your home. I do not, however, offer doggy daycare or overnight boarding in my own home. Many people book with me because not every animal is compatible with boarding facilities. If it is best for your dog to be in the comfort of their own home, I am happy to house sit with them and I am able to be there around 20 out of 24 hours a day, depending on your needs. Please ensure that your animals are up to date with their vaccines prior to booking any of my services, but especially for house sitting. I offer a 15-30 minute meet and greet for everyone so that I can get acquainted with your pets, obtain any information I will need to provide the best care for them, and go over the service agreement which we will both sign prior to the start of any bookings.
A deposit of no less than 25% of your total is required upon confirmation of your booking with me. This must be paid so that I can hold those time slots just for you. The deposit is typically paid when we read over the service agreement, and sign it, together. This goes towards the total cost of your booking, and it is non-refundable if you cancel.
Your remaining total must be paid in full within 48 hours of the end of the booking to avoid being blacklisted.
I gladly accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, cash, and check. There is a $30 returned check fee.
If you cancel within one month prior to the start of your booking, a fee of 10% of your total will be required.
Any bookings cancelled 72-48 hours in advance will be charged 25% of your total.
Bookings cancelled within 24 hours or less will be charged 50% of your total.
Holiday rates:
Due to increased demand for services during holidays, any cancellation- regardless of how far in advance- will cost 50% of your total.
There is only a $5 fee for last minute bookings, and it is added to your deposit.
